Giving Back to the Niagara Region
Community Involvement
Since 1975, Smith Family Dentistry has always made a point of giving back to those around us. We can’t help but want to give something back to the community that’s had us smiling for years!
Produce Donation
During the growing season, Smith Family Dentistry donates weekly shares from Rumar Farms of their freshly-picked organic produce to the food bank at Pelham Cares.
Judene and Andre and their 3 boys from Smith Family Dentistry are loyal customers of Rumar Farm, enjoying the variety of different herbs, berries, vegetables and fruits each week. When approached to be a donor-sponsor, they did not hesitate to help out!
Donation Days
Smith family dentistry periodically holds donation days for a charity or a person in need.
We love to support Community Crew which is a service that provides nutritious lunches for children in need.
We also support Start Me Up Niagara with Food and Clothing Donations.
Ice Dog Tickets
Dr. Daryl Smith is the ICE DOG's official dentist. Hopefully they are all wearing the mouthguards he made for them. Oops someone got a stick in the mouth! Dr. Daryl’s on the ice helping out our Niagara hockey hero and bringing them to Smith Family Dentistry’s office to do what needs to be done in their mouth.
Want to go to an Ice Dogs game on us? Ask a Smith Family Dentistry team member and Dr. Daryl will probably be able to set you up with free tickets!
Supporting Youth
Our dentists are passionate about educating children about the importance life long oral health care. We love making dental care fun and engaging, and we visit schools throughout the Niagara Region to help inspire healthy habits from a young age.
At Smith Family Dentistry, we are also proud to support a variety of community donation drives across the Niagara Region, including:

Giving Overseas 2005 & 2006
Father & Daughter Making a Difference: Dr. Judene and her dad, Dr. David Smith, travelling to Honduras to provide volunteer dentistry to the underserved communities in 2005 and 2006.
